Engineering from both sides

We understand the machine—and what happens on its trays.

Because we actively work with products and freeze-drying processes, we see the practical details that drawings alone can miss: loading patterns, sticky or delicate products, cycle consistency, cleaning, operator access, production flow and the handover into packaging.

That experience lets us approach a machine from both an engineer’s viewpoint and the food-processing industry’s viewpoint. It is how we keep refining what the unit needs to do in the real world.

  • Designs informed by active product processing
  • Continual development of controls, refrigeration and vacuum systems
  • Practical focus on repeatability, cleanability and production workflow

Benchtop to industrial

A full range, selected around the job—not just the chamber size.

We can supply established, configurable machines as well as systems engineered by us for a specific application. The right starting point depends on product, wet load, drying behaviour, batch frequency, workflow, utilities and realistic growth plans.

01

Compact systems

For laboratories, product trials, education, formulation work and low-volume specialist processing.

  • Small-footprint options
  • Practical product development
  • Flexible accessories and layouts
02

Development machines

For repeatable trials, process optimisation and businesses preparing to move from samples into production.

  • Controlled shelf temperatures
  • Recipe development and data
  • A clear route to scale-up
03

Food & industrial systems

Configurable systems for demanding production work, from compact commercial batches to high-capacity installations.

  • Selected ranges from 6kg to 1,000kg/24h
  • Automated cycle options
  • Loading systems matched to workflow
04

Custom-built machines

A new system designed around unusual products, available space, throughput, loading, controls or site services.

  • Application-specific engineering
  • Custom chamber and shelf formats
  • Integrated vacuum and refrigeration

Scale without guesswork

From first product trials to serious production.

Compact systems support development and small production runs. Selected food and industrial ranges extend from a nominal 6kg to 1,000kg per 24-hour cycle, with configuration choices for controls, heating, loading and site services.

6kg–1,000kg

Nominal 24-hour capacities across selected production systems. Actual throughput depends on product, loading and cycle.

Integrated technology

Every system has to perform as one machine.

The chamber, shelf heating, refrigeration, condenser, vacuum package, sensors and controls all affect the product result. We specify them together and keep improving how they interact.

01

Product-led specification

Wet load, dry yield, product depth, batch frequency and quality targets shape the machine from the start.

02

Chamber & shelves

Shelf area, spacing, heating method, materials and loading format are selected around the actual product and workflow.

03

Refrigeration & vacuum

Low-temperature capacity, condenser performance, pump selection, pipework and heat rejection are engineered as one system.

04

Controls & recipes

Manual or automated operation, recipe storage, process monitoring, alarms and data options are matched to the application.

05

Scale & site fit

Air- or water-cooled configurations, utilities, access, loading and future capacity are considered before installation.

06

Commissioning & support

Installation planning, operator guidance and ongoing engineering support continue well beyond the equipment handover.

Active development

The process keeps teaching us how to build better machines.

01

Work with the product

We look at how real products freeze, dry, load, unload and move into the next production step.

02

Measure performance

Cycle behaviour, consistency, refrigeration duty, vacuum response and operator feedback reveal what matters in practice.

03

Improve the design

That operating knowledge feeds back into chambers, shelves, controls, software, refrigeration and service access.

04

Keep developing

New products and production demands create new questions, so design improvement is an active, continuing process.

Maintenance & emergency callouts

Fast on-site support for existing machines, whatever the badge.

Planned servicing and emergency callouts are available for vacuum freeze dryers from any manufacturer, as well as systems supplied or built by us. Our engineers understand the refrigeration, vacuum, controls and process sides of the machine.

01 · Any-make support

Servicing, maintenance & emergency repair

Our engineers can attend urgent breakdowns, carry out planned maintenance, investigate performance problems and help return the machine to reliable service.

  • Refrigeration and low-temperature faults
  • Vacuum leaks, pumps and instrumentation
  • Controls, sensors and cycle issues
  • Planned service and performance checks

02 · Adapt existing equipment

Modifications for new applications

When a sound machine no longer fits the product or workflow, we can assess it and engineer practical changes instead of assuming replacement is the only answer.

  • Controls, recipes, monitoring and data
  • Shelf, tray and loading arrangements
  • Vacuum or refrigeration upgrades
  • Changes for different products or processes

All modifications are subject to a technical and site assessment.

Machine, maintenance or emergency repair enquiry

Tell us what the freeze dryer needs to achieve.

For a new machine, include the product, wet load, batch frequency and available space. For maintenance, an emergency repair or a modification, send the make, model, symptoms and site location.
